'Choose And Book'

The practice operates the government's 'Choose and Book' system for first-time referrals to a hospital consultant. Leaflets explaining the procedure are available in both waiting rooms. If you require further details, please ask at reception.

NHS Walk-in Centre

The nearest NHS Walk-in Centre is situated in the health centre on Whitegate Drive, Blackpool, and is open as follows:

Monday - Saturday 08.00 - 21.00
Sunday and Bank Holidays 09.00 - 20.00

The centre will do ear syringing by appointment by telephoning (01253) 655871. They will also do blood tests (but only with a blood form from the surgery).

Research

The practice is an approved research practice. That means we are actively recruiting patients into research studies and clinical trials. If you are suitable for one of these you may be asked if you want to participate. Participation is entirely voluntary and you will be given information and time to discuss it with the research nurse or your GP before making a decision.
